Into The Spiderverse is proof that live-action superhero movies will never look better than what animation can deliver. Imagine what we could have if animation weren’t so regularly seen as a lower art form than live acting. Honestly, on every aesthetic level Into The Spiderverse was absolutely phenomenal. Art direction, animation, music - all of it. 

truly and this is why I hate all these “live action” remakes of animated movies, bc they run with the idea that live action is the final form of story-telling that all story-tellers should aspire to achieve when in fact animation gives more opportunity for unique & interesting expression, aesthetics, and concepts. Into The Spiderverse set a bar that I hope others will strive to meet.
